Rev. Harry Pratts

Rev. Harry Pratts, 66 of Dunnellon, Fl. passed away on June 22nd 2019 in Ocala, FL. Harry was born in Brooklyn, NY to Antonio Pratts and Blanca Rosa Rodriguez on July 31st 1952. In 1966 he graduated from Franklin Delano Roosevelt High School in Brooklyn, NY. 1984 he received an Associate Degree in Sacred Literature from Logos Bible College, in 1996 he secured his Bachelor of Arts in Theological Studies from Vision Christian College. He went on to earn a Masters Degree in Theology from Vision International University 1996. He served our country for thirty-four years, and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force. He was a fervent student and reader of The Word of God, the Bible. He enjoyed reading, running, playing basketball and writing. He authored two books Standing Against The Wiles Of The Enemy, We Need The Holy Spirit and the accompanying workbook. His blog Coffee With A Straw was an encouragement to many. He was the Academic Dean at Casa Hope. Harry is survived by the love of his life-, his spouse of forty years, Evelyn Pratts. His two children and their spouses, son Marcel A Pratts and his wife Cassandra Pratts and daughter Christine-Marie Young and her husband Bobby Young. Brother Jose Antonio Pratts and sister Blanca I Ilarraza. Grandchildren Brooklyn Marie, Marcel Jr., Julissa Rose and Joy Isabella. His parents Antonio Pratts, and Blanca Rosa Rodriguez preceded him in death. Funeral service will be held at United in Christ, Ministerio Unidos en Cristo, 220 Marion Oak Drive, Ocala FL on Wednesday, June 26th. Visitation will be held from 6:00 Pm 7:00 PM the Celebration of Life Service at 7:00 PM with Bishop Samuel Cotto of Casa Hope, Inc. officiating. Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel will be handling the funeral arrangements. Burial will be Thursday, June 27th 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
