Magno Acuria

Magno Napoleon Acuria, 73, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida, surrounded by the love of his family. Magno was born on August 19, 1952, in Samborondón, Ecuador, to the late Eloy Acuria and Agripina Zoleta. From an early age, he demonstrated a love for learning and a drive to excel, qualities that would remain with him throughout his life. His pursuit of higher education led him to Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in 1984. A dedicated professional, Magno built a career that reflected both his talents and his passions. He worked for Nestlé in Guayaquil, Ecuador, for 14 years, where he not only applied his technical knowledge but also found great pride and purpose in contributing to a field that brought nourishment and innovation to countless people. His colleagues remember him as hardworking, generous with his time, and deeply committed to his craft. Beyond his career, Magno was a man devoted to his family. He shared a loving marriage with his wife, Martha, and together they raised two children, Stephanie and Magno C., who were the center of his world. He treasured every moment spent with them, offering guidance, encouragement, and unconditional love. To those who knew him, Magno will be remembered for his warmth, humility, and his quiet strength—a man who led by example and whose kindness touched many lives. Magno is preceded in death by his parents, Eloy and Agripina, and his sister, Ana. He is survived by his devoted wife, Martha; his beloved daughter, Stephanie; and his cherished son, Magno C., all of Ocala, Florida. His legacy lives on through his family, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. A funeral viewing to honor Magno’s life will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Roberts of Ocala East. The family extends their deepest gratitude to friends and loved ones for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Magno’s life was one of dedication, love, and quiet perseverance. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit and the example he set will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
