Laura Paynter

Laura Ann Paynter, beloved sister, step-sister, aunt, and friend, rode into eternity on April 17, 2024, at the age of 65 in Ocala, Florida. Born on January 19, 1959, in Omaha, Nebraska, Laura's journey on this earth was marked by faith, creativity, and unwavering love for her family. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Julie Reynolds and Richard Paynter, her brother Richard Paynter Jr., step-brothers, Arthur D. O’Leary and Mark J. O’Leary and her maternal grandparents Laura and Edward Reynolds. As she joins them in heaven, Laura leaves behind her brother James Sibbernsen, step-sister Maryann O. Williams, and maternal aunt and uncle Lois and Joel Reynolds and cousins, Susan Reynolds Harned and Jennifer Reynolds Herold. Throughout her life, Laura wore many hats. She pursued her education through high school and some college, becoming a talented jockey and horse trainer, as well as a respected real estate associate. Her passion for horses was evident to all who knew her, and her expertise in the equestrian world brought her both joy and fulfillment. Laura's impact was not limited to her professional accomplishments. She had a deep connection to her community and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her generosity and kindness touched many lives, making her a cherished member of society. What truly set Laura apart was her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Her strong belief in her savior guided her through life's challenges and inspired those around her. Her creativity and ability to see endless possibilities in every situation illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. A service to celebrate Laura's life will be held at Forest Lawn in Omaha on May 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity close to Laura's heart, her church, Christ the King Anglican Church in Ocala, Florida Laura Ann Paynter will be remembered for her warmth, her faith, and the love she shared with everyone she met. As her spirit takes its final ride, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her grace and light. Rest in peace, dear Laura, may your spirit gallop freely in the eternal fields of heaven.
