Janice Marilyn Clark, a vibrant soul whose life was a testament to her creative spirit and selfless nature, passed away on June 7, 2025, in Ocala, FL, at the age of 90. Born on February 10, 1935, in Oconomowoc, WI, Janice's journey was one of joy, faith, and boundless love for her family and the many lives she touched. Granny, as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren, embraced life with a faith-filled heart that radiated warmth and kindness. Her enduring love story with her late husband, Roger Ray Clark, spanned over a decade before his passing in 1998. Together, they built a legacy of love that continued to flourish through their children, Kelli Charles (Lance), Kristina Carmichael (Michael), Michael Clark (Kelle), and their late son Steven, whose wife is Tina. Janice's life was further enriched by her 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She also shared a special bond with her sister, Elizabeth Dow (Terry), and held fond memories of her late siblings, Wallace Waters, survived by his spouse Vicky, and Larry Waters. Her beloved fur baby, Sami, was her constant companion for more than nine years, bringing joy and comfort to her days. Janice attended Oconomowoc High School. Janice's professional journey was as diverse and colorful as her personality. From serving as a cocktail waitress to breeding and owning horses, from capturing beauty through photography to expressing her flair in the retail fashion business, she embraced each chapter with passion and enthusiasm. Janice's interests were a reflection of her multifaceted character. An avid traveler, she found joy in exploring new places and cultures. Her faith in God was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through life's ebbs and flows. She channeled her creative energy into crafting and knitting, creating beautiful pieces that were both a comfort and a delight to those around her. A staunch advocate for animal welfare, Janice's compassion extended to all creatures, great and small, as evidenced by her support for the ASPCA. In the words of Helen Keller, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Janice lived by this philosophy, touching the hearts of those around her with her generous spirit and unwavering faith. Janice's life was a mosaic of cherished moments and enduring relationships. She was a beacon of creativity, a wellspring of faith, and an embodiment of selflessness. Her memory will be held dear in the hearts of her beloved family, including her nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives she enriched with her presence. Janice's legacy will continue to inspire and guide us, as we remember her not just for the life she lived, but for the love she freely gave.
