Cindy Giller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Giller, who left this world on August 21, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on August 30, 1968, in the loving town of Bethpage, New York, Cindy embodied warmth and kindness from the very beginning. Her family, deeply rooted in love, included her devoted parents, Harriet Root and Edward Giller. Cindy grew up surrounded by the bustling energy of her family, which later expanded to include a sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Rich Mannone; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Ilene Cook; a brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Liz Giller; and a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Kathleen Root. She cherished her many nieces and nephews, who filled her life with joy and laughter. Cindy was a proud graduate of West Islip High School, class of 1986. After completing her education, she dedicated 25 years of her life to working at Burger King, where she was known for her unfaltering work ethic and the friendly service she provided to all who walked through the door. Her kindness and dedication left a lasting impression on many, both her colleagues and the countless customers she served. Cindy had a passion for simple pleasures in life. She found joy and peace in word search books, puzzles, and coloring, which allowed her to express her creative spirit and provided moments of relaxation. Her love for these hobbies reflected her optimistic outlook and her ability to find happiness in the little things. In her later years, Cindy made her home in Ocala, Florida, where she continued to spread her love and warmth to everyone around her. The quaint surroundings of Ocala became a beloved backdrop for many cherished memories she created with family and friends. As we gather to celebrate the life of this extraordinary woman, we invite all who knew and loved Cindy to join us at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel on October 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM. This will be an opportunity to honor her memory, reflect on her impact, and share stories that capture her generous spirit. Though Cindy has departed from this earthly realm, her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her legacy of love and kindness continues to inspire us all. Rest in peace, dear Cindy; your light will always shine in our lives.
