Annie Bee Johsnon

Annie Bee Johnson, affectionately known as Kesha aka Flossy, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Ocala, Florida, at the age of 57. She was born on March 29, 1969, in Ocala, Florida, and spent her life in the community she called home. Annie was a woman whose presence could be felt wherever she went. She was known for her feisty spirit, her fun-loving nature, and the way she carried herself with a remarkable sense of pride and cleanliness. She had a strong personality, a quick wit, and a gift for speaking her mind, and those who knew her understood that her honesty was part of what made her so memorable. She brought energy and laughter into the lives of others, and she had a way of making ordinary moments feel lively and full of character. She attended Vanguard High School and left school in the eleventh grade, but her life was defined by the lessons she learned through experience, family, and the responsibilities she carried. Annie especially loved fishing, talking trash in the playful way that only she could, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Latoya Pringle, who passed away less than a year ago. Her absence was deeply felt in her heart, and she carried their memory with her until the end. Annie is survived by her son Thadious Johnson and her grandchildren, Thadious Lawrence, Laud Malichi Papa, and Tebony Pringle, who will continue to cherish the love and memories she shared with them. She is also survived by her parents, Sylvester Johnson and Perletha Jackson. Annie leaves behind seven living siblings. She was predeceased by 1 sibling, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who were all part of the large family. She also leaves behind her besties, Ms. Dot, Shataqua, and Latasia, whose friendship meant so much to her over the years. Her beloved ferret also held a special place in her heart and brought her comfort and companionship. Annie Bee Johnson will be remembered for her bold personality and her laughter. She leaves behind a legacy of unforgettable memories. Though she is no longer here in body, her voice and her humor, will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
