William "Bill" Liebert

William “Bill” Lawrence Liebert, 64 of Silver Springs, Florida, Graduated to Heaven on April 25, 2024 in Gainesville. Bill was born in Denver, Colorado to Ira & Patsy Liebert on February 26, 1960. He moved to Trenton New Jersey while in High School and Graduated from Ewing High School in 1978. He attended several colleges and earned degrees and certificates from College of Central Florida. He enjoyed several careers during his lifetime, he worked as print setter for many years, Insurance broker and local business owner until he retired. Bill later lived in Georgia where in 1997 he met and in 2001 married his beloved wife Misty. Always one for adventure they moved and settled in Florida to make their home together. After retiring Bill enjoyed many hobbies including sports, woodworking, reading, music and board games with family. His favorite sports to watch included New Jersey Devils Hockey, Denver Broncos Football, and NY Mets Baseball. He also enjoyed playing softball and bowling. He enjoyed spending quiet time listening to music (jazz, rock & roll, pop, contemporary Christian) as well as learning to play the trumpet, alto Saxophone and piano. Bill had a true love for All God’s Creations and loved spending time outside in nature gardening and exploring the national forest with all its animals and wonders. Bill also enjoyed giving back to his community by volunteering his time with Kiwanis, Red Cross, March of Dimes, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, as well as volunteering with his local church to assist local charities here in Marion county. Bill is survived by his wife, Misty Liebert of Silver Springs. His Children Joshua, Caleb and Abigail. His brothers Steven (Beverly), Michael (Cindy), Jeffrey (Lilith Judd). His nephews and nieces include Michael, Tracy, Eric (Amanda) & Charlie, Anthony, Emilie, Hannah, Brooklyn, Madison, Nicholas, Rachel and Asa. His mother in love Dale Bunn, many beloved friends and neighbors, and his four legged best friend Rusty. Extended Family includes international daughters in love, Mary, Anna, Anke, Ines, Annalisa, Raquel, Emilia, and Franzi. He is preceded in death by his Parents Ira and Patsy. His father in love Walter Bunn and many pets including his beloved dogs Cricket and Davey. Bill will always be remembered for his love of God and his family, his unending sense of humor, his loving nature, and willingness to help anyone in need. Although he is greatly missed already, Bill’s family takes great comfort in knowing that this separation is only temporary, as they will meet again in Heaven to share eternity with God. Memorial Service will be held at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave. Ocala Fl on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Doug Reed officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:00 pm in the chapel prior to service. “I Lift up my eyes to the mountains- Where does my help come from?
