Ronald Lee Ehrisman

Ronald Lee Ehrisman, age 73, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on January 13, 2026. Ronald was born on June 14, 1952, in Monticello, Jones County, Iowa, to James and Dorothy Ehrisman. He later made his home in Ocala, Florida, where he devoted his life to the people he loved most. Ronald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Debbie Ehrisman, building a life rich in love, laughter, and family traditions. Above all else, his family was his greatest joy, and his grandchildren were truly his entire world. Whether camping under the stars, tending his garden, sitting by the pool, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, Ronald cherished every opportunity to be surrounded by those he loved. His main hobby was his family. He had a special gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, always ready with a joke, a kind word, or a comforting hug. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Ehrisman; his sons, Matthew Ehrisman and Adam Ehrisman; his daughters-in-law, Stephanie Ehrisman and Jennifer Crutchfield; and his five treasured grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Beverly Claus; his siblings: Kenny Ehrisman; Dean Ehrisman and his wife, Penny; his twin brother, Donald Ehrisman and his wife, Cindy; Gary Ehrisman and his wife, Julie; Larry Ehrisman and his wife, Sue; and his sister, Marjie Shadwick and her husband, Steve. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Joyce Ehrisman and Diane McCormick (Mike), and his brother-in-law David Claus (Deb), along with a large extended family including eight nieces and ten nephews. Ronald’s faithful dogs, Sophie and Lylah, and his close family friend, Shoot, were also part of the love and joy that filled his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Ehrisman; his brother, Steve Ehrisman; and his brother-in-law, Douglas Claus. Ronald will be remembered for the laughter he shared, the love he gave unconditionally, and the countless memories he created with his family. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, warmth, and joy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
