Marina Pedraza

With a heavy heart and sadness we announce that Marina Pedraza “Mami/Lita”, 83 years old, of Caguas, Puerto Rico, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 27, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. Marina was born in Juncos, Puerto Rico, to Juana Pedraza and Mario Roldan on December 26, 1942. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her animals, singing, attending mass at Blessed Trinity where she sang in the choir; she enjoyed poetry, playing instruments (accordion, guitar, harmonica), and singing and participating over the radio station Noti Uno, Contacto Trece. She was involved in the community through this radio programming and through the church, she truly loved helping others and singing for the elderly and the sick. She also loved dancing different styles of music and always hoped to be a dance teacher. Marina is survived by her children, Angel Aquino Pedraza of Miami, FL and spouse; Jesus Aquino Pedraza of Orlando, FL and spouse; Glendaly Rosa of St. Augustine, FL and spouse; Veronica Rosa of Ocala, FL; 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Maria Esther and Juanita; nephews and friends. Viewing will be held on Thursday January 8, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. at Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home, located at 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34471. A mass will follow starting at 1:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, located at 5 SE 17th St, Ocala, FL 34471. Dearest mom, we are so grateful that you were surrounded by the love of your children in your final moments. You now rest in peace and in the presence of the Lord. Marina nacio en Juncos, Puerto Rico el 26 de Diciembre de 1942 y sus padres eran Juana Pedraza y Mario Roldan. Ella disfrutaba de jardineria, cuidar de sus animales, cantar y asistir a misa en Blessed Trinity donde ella canto en el coro. Le gustaba la poesia y tocaba instrumentos (acordeon, guitarra, y harmonica), cantar y participar en el programa radial Noti Uno, Contacto Trece. Marina estaba envuelta en la comunidad atraves de este programa radial y de la iglesia. Disfrutaba ayudar y servir a otros y cantar para los ancianos y enfermos. Tenia mucho amor por el baile de cualquier estilo y siempre quizo ser maestra de baile. Le sobreviven sus hijos Angel Aquino Pedraza de Miami, FL y esposa; Jesus Aquino Pedraza de Orlando, FL y esposa; Glendaly Rosa de St. Augustine, FL y esposo; Veronica Rosa de Ocala, FL; 16 nietos, 11 biznietos; sus dos hermanas: Maria Esther y Juanita; sobrinos y amigos. El velorio se llevara a cabo el Jueves 8 de enero de 2026 de 11am-12:45pm en Roberts of Ocala Funeral Home, localizado en 606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, FL 34471. Procederemos con una misa a la 1pm en Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, localizada en 5 SE 17th St, Ocala, FL 34471.
