Luciano Raineri

Luciano Raineri passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 95. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Luciano was an exceptionally hardworking man who took great pride in his craft as a baker. As a young man in Sicily, Luciano served in the Sicilian army before beginning his married life and raising a family. For 16 years, he worked at New York Bakery, where he made wonderful Italian bread. After moving to Florida, he continued his lifelong work as a baker and remarkably kept working into his early 80s. His dedication and strong work ethic were simply part of who he was. But Luciano's life was about much more than work. Family was his greatest joy. He was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved, enjoying the simple moments of being together. And wherever Luciano was, laughter was never far away. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved making people laugh. His smile, his jokes, and the happiness he brought to those around him will be remembered just as dearly as the many loaves of Italian bread he made throughout his life. Luciano leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of hard work, laughter, and love for family. Those who loved him will miss his presence deeply, but the stories, laughter, traditions, and love he shared will remain with them always. Luciano is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Grazia Raineri; his children, John Raineri, Maria Palladino, and Giovanna Diana Dumbadse; and his grandchildren, Joseph Palladino, Laura Camaj, Andrea Raineri, John Raineri, and Luke Dumbadse, as well as his extended family and many loved ones. He was preceded in death by his father, John Raineri; his mother, Maria Raineri; and his siblings, Katarina Raineri, Anna Raineri, Vincent Raineri, and Angelina Raineri.
