Hilda M Garcia

Hilda M. Garcia was born in Palmira, Colombia the youngest of 5 children. Daughter of Ramona Perdomo and Neftali Chamorro. Hilda was baptized and did her sacraments through the catholic church in Colombia and raised her three children in the same faith, later in her life she confessed to Christ and was baptized in a Christian church and passed with a strong spiritual faith. Hilda attended and concluded her elementary and high school studies in her native Colombia. She migrated to the states in 1977 and continued her education to help provide for her family. Throughout her life she had various jobs but the one that brought her the most pride and joy was that of being a mother and raising three unique and wonderful children. She was also blessed as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Hilda was a woman of strong character. She took pride in her appearance and enjoyed looking her best. She was well respected by her friends and family. Enjoyed a good get together and loved hosting for family and friends. Hilda had a passion for traveling, solving puzzles, and was a passionate collector of elephants. She was always the first one on the dance floor and encouraged others to have fun and enjoy life. Hilda was outgoing, witty, opinionated and passionate about her thoughts and feelings. She was not shy to say exactly what was on her mind. That was the person we all came to love. Hilda passed away April 18, in her house peacefully and full of faith. Surrounded by friends, family and her beloved children Jennifer, Peter and Ingrid, who will always remember her with love and respect. Hilda M. Garcia nació en Palmira, Colombia el 15 de Noviembre de 1950. Sus padres fueron Ramona Perdomo y Neftali Chamorro. Hilda fue la hija menor de 5 hijos. Hilda fue bautizada y aceptó los sacramentos en la fe Católica, en la que crió a sus tres hijos. Más adelante se confesó y bautizó ante cristo en la iglesia Cristiana y falleció con una fuerte fe espiritual. Hilda asistió y concluyó sus estudios primarios y preparatorios en su natal Colombia. Emigró a Estados Unidos en 1977 donde siguió con su preparación para así ayudar y proveer para su familia. A lo largo de su vida tuvo varias ocupaciones, pero lo que le trajo más satisfacción y orgullo fue la de ser madre y la crianza de sus tres maravillosos hijos. Más adelante fue bendecida como abuela y bisabuela. Hilda era una mujer de carácter fuerte. Siempre consciente de su apariencia y disfrutaba verse lo mejor. Hilda fue una mujer respetada y amada por su familia y amistades. Disfrutaba de reuniones, ser la anfitriona en su casa para amigos y familiares. Hilda era apasionada de viajar, resolver rompecabezas y coleccionar elefantes. Hilda era la primera en la pista, animaba a todos a divertirse y disfrutar de la vida. Hilda nunca fue tímida y siempre expresaba su opinión, aunque no haya sido solicitada, pero era la persona que amábamos. Hilda falleció tranquilamente en su casa el 18 de Abril llena de fe y paz espiritual, rodeada de amigos, familia y sus amados hijos Jennifer, Peter e Ingrid que siempre la recordarán con amor y respeto.
