Gary Carl Butler

Gary Carl Butler (70), was born on September 23rd in Jesup, GA. He worked as a a journeyman electrician for several years he then spent the last 40 plus years in logistics/ distribution. He had lived in Belleview, Florida for 60 plus years. He was a Sunday school teacher in the 80's for First Baptist Church in Belleview, Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, scuba diving, woodworking, shooting guns and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Deloris Butler, Brother Cliffe Butler, sister Stephanie Butler; sons Bennie Butler, Jeremy Butler and Gary Butler; daughter in-law Amy Butler; grandsons Brandon (Emily) Butler, Dylan Butler, Ethan Butler; granddaughters Cierra Nuccio, Angie Butler, Isabella Butler; great granddaughter Ella Butler; Nephews Matthew Bulter, Daniel Butler, Darren Butler and Allen Butler; nieces Elizabeth Butler and Mary Butler. He is preceded in death by his father Bennie Butler; brothers Mark and William Butler; daughter Carla Derrousse, grandsons Sebastian Derrousse and Bennie Butler. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surley goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Fill not your hears with pain and sorrow, but remember me in every tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. I've only gone to rest a little while. Although my leaving causes pain and grief, my going has eased my hurt and given me relief. So dry your eyes and remember me, not, as I am but as I used to be. Because I will remember you all and look on with a smile. Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest a little while. As long as I have the love of you, I can live my life in the hearts of all of you!
