E. G. Maulseed

E. G MAULSEEDLovingly called Miss G. at home or Gloria by close friends.Youngest child of very devoted Christian SDA Missionary parents, Stephen and Roseta Louise Maulseed.She was born in Twenty Mile, Belize Honduras. Predceased by parents, George Kesley Maulseed (Brother), Luther George Maulseed (Brother), Lola Lucille Maulseed (Sister). Left to cherish her memories are; Surlone May Maulseed (Eldest Sister @ 106 years of age), Lilieth Rose Maulseed (Sister @ 96 years of age) and Christine Gunnings (Sister @ 62 yrs of age)EG met and married Frank Samuel Greene of St. Ann's Bay, Jamaica WI. Of this union there are four children; Olga Maria (Ralph) Vanderpool, NY, NY, Colyn Potpurria (Jaqueline), North Miami, FL, Howard Raymond St. Aubyn, Union City, NJ, Courtney Constantine, Rochester, NY, eleven (11) grandchildren and six (6) great grandchildren.EG was a graduate nurse of St. John's Hospital, Batasea, England. She was always very active in various capacities in her churches; England, Jamaica WI, New York State and Gainesville, FL. She was presently a member of the Ocala SDA Church. She has always been eulogized in her life. Her loving, kind ways, her smile, helpful, caring thoughtful ways. Regardless who and under what circumstances she hardly says no and would never pass someone in need. She doesn't have to know you, never waited to be asked for help and at times one may hear her say, "it must be the nurse in me and I didn't even get their name." There were a few bumps and bruises and disappointments at times, but with a headshake and a smile, she'll say. "This too will pass for God knows best". Her loving life itself was a complete eulogy to everyone she met. For many years since relocating to Florida in 1981, she was very active. Singing with the Glee club, volunteering at Cypress Rehab Center, Harborside and Senior Meadows Retirement Center, Safe Crime Patrol of Silver Springs Shores and most recently at the Florida State Department of Corrections. Lord, may something she has said and done remain, now that she has passed on, that it may be a legacy to make some heart glad that they have met her. She departed this life with one earnest wish, her greatest desire is to see her four children in the First Resurrection when the Dead in Christ shall rise.And now Aunt G, we say goodbye. You have lived, you have loved, you have served, you have sacrificed and have dedicated your life and talents to God and Man. You have competed your tasksYou have laid down your shieldMay Angels watch silently, your resting place, as you wait the return of the Life Giver.
