Claudia A. McNamara-Hayden

With great sadness we announce the passing of Claudia Ann (Yoerger) McNamara-Hayden , 79, on August 16, 2023, in Ocala, FL, after a long illness. She was surrounded by loved ones and passed peacefully. A life lived so beautifully has gifted her loved ones with the most precious memories. Claudia loved with her whole heart. She was a true and loyal friend. She had the deepest strength and provided unending love and adoration to her family and friends. She loved God and had a strong faith. She loved to dance and always thought eating dessert first was a great idea. Being a mother and grandmother was Claudia's greatest joy. As her only grandchild locally, Claudia happily and tirelessly was involved with all of the school and extra activities of her sweet Kayla. In turn, Kayla devotedly assisted and took care of her Mimi when her illness required her to need physical help. Claudia was born in Weymouth, MA, to parents, Allen and Norma Yoerger. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur William McNamara, and second husband, William James Hayden. Claudia often told people she was a very lucky woman to have had two wonderful and loving marriages. She is survived by her sons, Keith (Claudine) McNamara of Bellingham, MA, Kyle (Mary) McNamara of Pembroke, MA, and Craig (Christine) McNamara of Watertown, NY, her daughter, Kerri McNamara of Ocala, FL, stepdaughter, Robyn (Mike) Bonitz of Arizona, and her sister, Susan MacDonald of Myrtle Beach, SC. She leaves behind her grandchildren Shane (Jenn), Elise, Kayla (Tucker), Hannah, Claire, Owen, Addison, and Billy as well as great grandchildren, Declan and Madilynn. There will be a private service for immediate family in Massachusetts. In lieu of donations or flowers, we humbly ask that you try to live like Claudia. Never pass a person without giving a smile and a kind word. See the good in everyone and every situation . There is always good if you look for it. Compliment others often and with sincerity. Love others and let them know how much they mean to you. Put some Elvis on and dance. Spread kindness everywhere and leave each step you make in the lives of others with just a little magic. Make the world a better place just from having been in it. Mom/Mimi, we will love you for always, miss you forever and will look towards the day we can see your beautiful smile and hear you say again how much you love us. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus. You've done well.
