Obituary of Catherine LivingstonCatherine Womack Livingston with family by her side went peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father while at her home on July 5, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born July 11.1928 in Tifton, GA to Nicholas Jefferson Womack and Tommie Ruth Womack. In 1949 she met her future husband Rufus J. Livingston of Reddick, FL. They were married October 8th 1949 at Mt Zion Baptist Church in Chula GA. Catherine loved working in her yard and especially with her flowers. In 1992 she and her husband bought a summer place in the NE Georgia Mountains (Clayton GA). She continued to enjoy this place well after her husband passed away. She also enjoyed traveling.She and her husband were active members of Woodside Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday School teacher. She also thoroughly enjoyed sending birthday, get-well, and anniversary cards to the members. Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 45 years in October 1994; 3 sisters, Jesse Pappy (Emory), Margaret Perry (Marvin) and Gloria Collier; 5 brothers, Nicholas J. Womack Jr., Bernard Womack (Lucille), James E. Womack, Charles L. Womack (Jo), and Lee A. Womack.Survivors include 3 sons; Charles F. Livingston, Richard M. Livingston both of Ocala and Edward Wayne Livingston (Anne) of Oxford FL: 1 grand daughter Shawn Lacy Wasilensky of Ocala, 4 grandsons, Justin Richard Livingston, Lance Charles Livingston both of Ocala, Matthew Wayne Livingston (Whitney) of Winter Park, FL, and Andrew David Livingston of Oxford FL, 2 great grand daughters: Shelby Lynn O'Cull and Sydney Grace Wasilensky both of Ocala, 1 sister; Martha Partin (John) of Alapaha GA,1 sister in law; Francis Womack of Tifton GA, 1 brother in law; Pinkie Collier of Shawnee KS, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please donate to Woodside Baptist Church building fund 2450 NE 28thSt. Ocala, FL 34470.Visitation will be at Roberts Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel on July8th 2013 between 7:00pm - 8:30pm. The Homecoming Celebration service will be held at Roberts Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, July 9th, 2013 at 11:00am with the Rev. Charlie Green officiating. Interment will follow at Barnes Cemetery.
