Last Saturday, May 22nd, our beloved husband, father, brother, friend, and neighbor CarlosTorres was called to the house of the Lord. He was born on December 16th, 1935, a faithfullover of reading, history, pets, drawing, collecting stamps, technology, travel, family, dessertsand above all, God.During his life he was set apart by his very distinguished cheerful and social personality, injust a few encounters with him, you could see his grand heart. He was a firm believer of loveand when he retired from his working life he went looking for it in Costa Rica, there, for ourfortune, he chose us as his family. We discovered together many ways to see life, we defeateddeath several times, finally he wished to returned to the US, his beloved country, the one whowatched him grow. He established his home in Belleview, and he became a member of theSaint Theresa's community, where he served as an usher, a member of the council, and part ofthe cleaning team during the last years of his life.From today on, he will continue to be the engine allowing us to continue to move forward andpaying tribute and honor to his memory. He will be remembered as the man who came to ourlives to change everything, without a shred of a doubt, he left a mark in our hearts, and we willforever take him with us, with every step we take, every decision we make and every momentwe live, honoring his memory.Carlos always saw the fun in everything, he made us laugh and he always enjoyed sharing thisjoy with others, he left us with those moments all around us, so we can forever remember himwith love and we may laugh once more.Behind, he left beautiful memories of the love he spread to those who knew him. He outlivesthree sisters: Mary, Hilda and Rita, his brother Enrique; four daughters: Jeanette Roberts, Shirley,Alejandra and Natalia and his son Jose Rodolfo; two granddaughters: Marina and Emily Mei;three dogs, a cat and his wife Patricia.Carlos was preceded in death by his loving parents, Laura L. Carril Hechavarria andAbdon R. Hechavarria, his baby daughter, Judith Ann Torres, his beloved Aunt Cordoves Rafaela A. Carril, and his brother in law Roberto E. Perez, along with numerous friends and neighbors.For ever he will be in our hearts.Visitation will be held from 11:30 - 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 US-301, Belleview, Florida, with a Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 1:00 p.m., Father Tom Connery celebrant. Interment will occur at a later date.The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Roberts Funeral Homes East Chapel, 2739 SE Maricamp Rd., Ocala, Fl. 34471.El pasado sábado 22 de mayo, nuestro amado, esposo, padre, hermano, amigo y vecinoCarlos Torres fue llamado a la casa del señor, nació el 16 de diciembre de 1935; fiel amante dela lectura, la historia, las mascotas, el dibujo, las colecciones, la tecnología, los viajes, lafamilia, los postres y sobre todo de Dios.Durante toda su vida se caracterizó por un carácter jovial y muy social, en pocos encuentrospodías ver su gran corazón, creía fielmente en el amor y cuando se retiró de la vida laboral fueen busca de el a Costa Rica, allí, para nuestra fortuna nos eligió como su familia, descubrimosjuntos muchas maneras de ver la vida, vencimos varias veces a la muerte luego finalmentequiso regresar a USA, su amado país que lo vio crecer, se estableció en Belleview y se hizomiembro de la comunidad de Santa Teresa, donde sirvió de Ujier, miembro del consejo y partedel equipo de limpieza durante los últimos años su de vida.Por siempre seguirá siendo el motor que nos permita seguir rindiendo honor a su memoria. Lorecordaremos como el hombre que vino a cambiar nuestras vidas, sin lugar a dudas, dejó unamarca en el corazón de todos y esto, lo llevaremos en cada paso que demos, cada decisiónque tomemos y cada momento que vivamos, honrando su memoria.Carlos siempre vio la comedia en todo, nos hizo reír y siempre disfruto de compartir estaalegría y ahora nos deja con esos hermosos momentos a nuestro alrededor que por siemprenos harán reír al recordarlo con amor.Deja atrás hermosos recuerdos del amor que esparció entre quienes lo conocimos, losobreviven, tres hermanas: Mary, Hilda y Rita y su hermano Enrique; 4 hijas: Jeannette, Shirley,Alejandra y Natalia y su hijo Jose Rodolfo; dos nietas: Marina y Emily Mei; tres perros, un gatoy su esposa Patricia.Por siempre estará en nuestro corazónEl velorio será de 11:30 a 1pm el Viernes 4 de Junio, 2021 en St. Theresa Catholic Church, 11528 US-301, Belleview, Florida, seguida por la misa a la 1pm oficiada por el Padre Tom Connery. El entierro se dará en una fecha posterior.La familia a confiado los arreglos del funeral a Roberts Funeral Homes East Chapel, 2739 SE Maricamp Rd., Ocala, Fl. 34471.
