Bruno Szubart

Bruno Alexander Szubart, 11, passed away December 22, 2022, due to a tragic car accident. Bruno was born on September 27, 2011, on Staten Island, New York. He was the beloved son of Sara and Dominik Szubart and a loving younger brother To Milena Szubart. Bruno was a sixth-grade student at Osceola Middle School. Last year he graduated from Madison Street Academy where he attended for two years after he moved to Ocala with his family. Everyone knew Bruno for his kindness, contagious laugh, and optimistic attitude. He made everyone feel included, comfortable, deeply cared for, and made everyone so happy when they were around him. Bruno was known for his ability to light up any room with his undeniably playful humor. He was always thinking of others before himself, making everyone happy with his talent to chit-chat about anything. Bruno was very intelligent, creative and had many interests. He loved going to school and was a very good student excelling in many subjects. Bruno’s favorite hobbies included playing computer games with his friends, riding his bike, swimming, playing soccer, reading, playing tennis, listening to his favorite music, and of course spending time with his family and friends, all of whom adored him. Bruno created so many wonderful memories, some of his favorites were: going to Poland every summer to spend time with his family and visiting beautiful places along the way; going to Sky Zone with his friends; camping and kayaking with his family; going to different amusement parks in Florida, the Universal Studios trip before graduating from elementary school was one of his favorite trips; watching The Simpsons with his sister; being silly with his family and friends; playing with his dog, Cookie and his cat, Jinx; completing the hottest chip challenge with his Dad; eating pierogies made by his grandmas; his last trip to NJ where he finally mastered how to ski; going to see his favorite band – Iron Maiden in concert in Tampa; baking and trying out new dessert ideas and of course, chatting with his favorite group of friends while playing computer games. Bruno developed incredible friendships along the way and spent much of his time creating lasting memories with them. According to Bruno’s friends, he changed their lives and he loved and accepted everyone just the way that they are. We all know there was something special about Bruno… Bruno will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Sara and Dominik Szubart, his sister, Milena (14); his grandparents, Antonia Kalinowska, Slawomir Kalinowski, Bozena Szubart, Krystyna Sabaj, Zbigniew Sabaj, favorite uncle, Tomek Sabaj, aunt, Karolina Kalinowska, cousins, Pola and Igor Kalinowscy and many, many other aunts, uncles, cousins in Poland, and friends. A visitation will be held at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Avenue, Ocala, on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service at noon. Inurnment will be in Poland.
