Aprille Marie Brosius

Aprille Marie Brosius, 43, passed away peacefully on November 27 th , 2024, at her home in Silver Springs, Florida. Aprille was born in Ocala, Florida to parents Donn Marc Groenewoud and Patricia Ann Stanley on July 7 th , 1981. She went to Vanguard high school and graduated in 1999. She married her husband Jeremy Brosius on January 23 rd , 2004, and was an unwavering mother to their five children. She was a devoted wife who enjoyed quiet date nights with her husband and spending time on the beach. She dedicated her time to homeschooling her children and raising them with love. Aprille is survived by her husband, Jeremy Brosius; her children, Avanelle, Malachi, Garver, Everleigh and Colston; her brother, Adam Groenewoud; her sister, Stephanie (Keith) DeVilling; her nieces, Aubrey and Charlotte DeVilling; her parents, Donn Groenewoud and Patricia Stanley; her stepdad, Mike Stanley; her grandmother, Mary Blair. A memorial service will be held at Aprille’s church, Good News Church of Ocala. Time and date TBD. Her sapphire eyes twinkle in the sunlight. From her pink lips she corrects what needs to be corrected and teaches what needs to be taught. Her bright smile is always inviting to see when the days are long and tiring. She holds her posture with pride and elegance. Her tan complexion exhibits a radiant glow of her motherly love. She dresses in beautiful clothing of prismatic colors. Calluses and creases in her gentle hands display her hardworking character. She is admired for her morality and self-determination. She is a friend when needed most: she is my mother. She gives all of her time and adoration towards others; always encouraging whenever she advises. The tenderness within displays how much she cares for her family. When we are afraid she is sitting there beside us. When we are ill, she is waiting on us day and night. My Mother spends her time helping me study and memorize my schoolwork. She slaves over the stove to give us a delicious hot meal. She keeps the house clean and organized even when we mess it up. Silly jokes that she tells bring smiles to our faces. When trying to put oﬀ our schoolwork, she will quote, “Don’t put oﬀ until tomorrow what can be done today”, to change our minds. She molds us every day to be who we are and not like someone else. She does every little task yet may never be appreciated as she should be. In years to come, I will look back on the things that she did, and the ways she influenced my life. To a stranger she is a person, to a relative she is the authority over us, but to me she is more than just that.
