Obituary of Amy FrossOur beloved Amy Kathryn Bickel Fross fought a courageous and determined seven-year battle against breast cancer. Throughout her entire fight, the most important thing to Amy was her faith in Jehovah God. Amy was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on June 10, 1989, and devoted the next 20 years of her life to telling others about the wonderful hope of God's promise to restore the earth to a peaceful paradise where righteous people will live forever. Amy was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, wife, and mother. She brought Bill and Linda Bickel much joy on December 24, 1973 when she was born, and proved to be a wonderful daughter throughout her life. Her big brothers Brett and Jeff loved their little sister immensely. Amy spent her entire life surrounded by countless friends and family that loved her deeply and treasured her beautiful personality. Amy met the love of her life, Rob Fross, in New York City, and thus began a fairytale courtship. The two were married on September 10, 1994 and enjoyed 15 wonderful years together. Amy greatly appreciated her dedicated, devoted, and loving husband who adored her. On March 11, 1999, Rob and Amy welcomed their ray of sunshine, Makenna Morgan Fross, into their lives. Amy loved being a mother, and cherished her sweet, happy daughter. Amy's unwavering faith in her Creator is what kept her positive and resolute throughout her difficult battle. In spite of her sickness, Amy always focused on helping others. She was a source of great encouragement to her family and friends. She touched countless lives, and her loving, caring, positive attitude will be greatly missed. Amy's hope for the future was always clear to her. She wanted you to know what that hope is. The Bible speaks of a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. (Acts 24:15) At God's appointed time in the near future, he will resurrect those who are sleeping in death back to life on earth. Governed by God's perfect heavenly Kingdom (1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14) these ones will have the opportunity to live forever in perfection, just as God originally purposed for mankind in the Garden of Eden. Gone will be the days of sickness, death, tragedy, injustice and suffering. (Revelation 21:4) At that time, all inhabitants of a perfectly restored world will worship Jehovah God together in paradise. Amy's hope of being resurrected was real to her. It was her steadfast wish that each and every one of you be there to welcome her back personally on her resurrection day. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Country Club of Ocala.
