Parker Austin Buck

Parker Austin Buck, 51, laid down his fork, knife and barbeque tongs and parted the clouds to heaven. The spirit of our grill master, father, paw paw, friend and husband left his body on May 21, 2019 while surrounded by his family in Ocala, FL.Parker was born Nov 3, 1967 in Chattanooga, TN. He spent most of his life in GA where he met his person, his best friend, his wife of 15 years, Mary-Sue.Parker was known to voice his opinion loud and clear, but at the end of the day he would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He taught his children to camp, tell great stories, and to enjoy life making new friends. He appreciated all types of (good) music, motorcycle rides on his Harley Gracie, and being out on any body of water. He loved his German Shepherd, Sasha, cooking BBQ on his one-of-a-kind Ford truck turned grill,and most of all,being a Paw-Paw to his 6 grandchildren. He encountered many struggles in life but came to peace with himself and found God through Celebrate Recovery. He was loved by so many who will miss his larger-than-life personality and his delicious pork butts. Parker was preceded in death by his Grandmother Bertha Gardner, Father Douglass Austin Buck, Mother Amy Orrock and brothers Douglass (Woody) Buck and Michael Carman. Parker is survived by his wife, Mary-Sue, his sister Melissa Buck, 1/2 brother Randy Buck and 1/2 sisters Michelle Essich and Julie VonTell, 4 children Melanie Stinnett (John Micheal), Zachary Buck (Harley), Melinda Duffy (Austen), David Langgle-Martin (Elizabeth), and 6 Grandchildren: Miley Stinnett (11)Tanner Stinnett(5),Charlotte Duffy(2),Oaklynn Buck(2), Lorelai Duffy (8 mo) Embry Langgle-Martin(6 mo), Nephews Tyler, Trae, Roy, Ray, and Denver and nieces Shawnda, Kassandra, and Shelby as well as many other honorary children, nephews and nieces.He had a knack for telling it like it is, so lets just say it is obvious that Parker will be sorely missed.The family encourages anyone attending his Celebration of Life on July 6, 2019, to wear a shirt emblazoned with a favorite Parkerism. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Parkers memory to the Alzheimers Association Ocala or the Humane Society.
