Phillip Russell Morris

Phillip Russell Morris, 70, of Ocala passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at his home in Ocala. Phillip was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and moved to this area from Gainesville, FL around 1977. He was the owner/operator of PRM Trucking and hauled cattle for many years. He was also an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his 4 grandchildren and his beloved cat, Zafar. He was a generous man who prided himself on helping others. He is survived by his wife, Karen Morris; daughter, Ashley Harper (Luke); grandchildren, Madison Wade, Hailey Harper, Brantley Harper, and Brayden Harper; mother, Jessie Morris of Waco, Texas; sister, Sharon Lawson of Waco; niece, Angelea Lawson (Patrick Flanagan) of Waco; nephew, Ron Ruble of Dunnellon; niece, Sandy Evans (Troy) of Venice, Florida; and several other beloved relatives. He is preceded in death by his father, John Morris; sister, Eileen Moseley; brother, Paul Morris; and sister, Ruth Ruble.
