Frederick David Lavigne
October 26, 1950 - December 24, 2021
Frederick (Rick) David Lavigne, 71, of Inverness Florida passed away unexpectedly on December 24th 2021. Rick passed from this world to the next, just 6 days after walking his only daughter down the isle on her wedding day. Born to Paul Albert Lavigne and Mary Jane DeCosta (Mercier) Rick spent the first 30 years of his life in Bermuda, where he worked in the hospitality industry for many years. Known to most as "Rick", his legacy is that he loved to give, and he did so, often, even when it left him empty handed. Rick was employed for many years by Riverside Christian Fellowship Church in North Lauderdale Florida. It suited his servants heart. Rick was an honest and righteous man who strived to live a life that would make amends for some poor choices of his past. He forever believed "do what's right and do what's good" and when questioned about why he did so much for so many, for so little, his response was always that his treasures are "stored in heaven" and not on this Earth. Rick is survived by his sons Jeremiah and Jason Outerbridge, Randie, Ryan and Ramsey Lavigne, and daughter Kathleen Cajamarca (Nicholas); granddaughters Karaleena & Mariana and grandson Lucenzo. Rick was eagerly awaiting the birth of his third granddaughter, expected to Ramsey ( Katlyn) in early March. He is also survived by his brothers Franklin, Jerrold(Kate), Warren (Joyce) and Raymond (Karen). He was predeceased in death by his parents, his, brother Arthur Lavigne and his oldest son Nicholi Brown.
