Eldon Slone age 89 of Belleview died at home on March 7, 2018. He was born on April 20, 1928 to Clarence and Jessie Northrup in Peoria, IL. Eldon was a veteran of the Navy and served during WWII. Eldon along with his wife Viola owned and operated S and S Horse Track Builders building tracks all over Marion County. Eldon was a private pilot, a member of Masonic Lancaster Lodge, 106 Belleview American Legion, a member of the Morroco Temple of the Shrine. Eldon was an avid fisherman, loved to travel and enjoyed having fish fry's with the family. Eldon is survived by Wife, Viola Maxine Slone, Daughter, Karen Scott, Son, Jack Slone, Daughter, Marsha Brown, Son, Allen Slone. Visitation will be held at Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations, Ocala, Florida. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Roberts of Ocala Funerals and Cremations, Ocala, Florida, with , officiating.
