Phillip P. Tranfa Jr., 63 of Dunnellon, FL passed away peacefully Friday, August 30, 2019. Phillip was born in Miami, FL where he spent the first part of his life working as a Lather with the Florida Carpenters Union. He later moved to Dunnellon and worked in security and owned a small painting business before retiring in 2012. Phil loved watching sports, especially his Miami Hurricanes and Dolphins, he was a huge NASCAR fan, and enjoyed attending his niece and nephews basketball games. Besides keeping busy with sports Phil also took pride in his home, collecting memorabilia, and the many cats that he cared for. He was a loving brother, uncle and friend to so many and will be forever missed. He is survived by his sister Lisa Joynt, brother Mark Tranfa, aunts; Linda House, Marie Pease, and Sharon Kovaleski all of Ocala, FL, nieces; Lauren Ulrich of Milan,TN, Leah Ulrich, Abigail Joynt and nephew Nicholas Sacco all of Ocala, FL and many cousins.
A celebration of life will be held for Phil on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 2-4 at the Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel.
