Keven O. Cabra passed into eternal life Feb. 12, 2019
Keven was born on August 13, 1951 in Miami, Fl. He spent his childhood in Hialeah, Fl. He was the first-born child of four children to Frank & Kitty Cabra. Keven and his siblings had a happy childhood spending many days swimming in the beautiful ocean waters of Miami Beach. Keven was extremely intelligent being an avid reader. As a child he loved animals and had many dogs through his life and he loved building model airplanes. Keven had a very loving, generous, heart and a very vivid imagination. His family all thought he should have become a screen writer, for the stories he could tell.
As a child of his era Keven spent summer days riding his bike to friend's houses, the parks and to Municipal pool in Hialeah. Keven also learned to play the Double Bass. Keven entered into the military, (Army at 17 years old, June 6, 1969). He fought in the Vietnam war. He was most proud of being able to take his mother to Hawaii for his R & R. When he finished his tour and came home, he was a different man. He somehow became a loner. He discovered the computer and fell in love with the fact that he found fellow vets and could chat with them. He did this for the remainder of his life and those friends became his lifeline.
Keven is predeceased by his father Frank, his mother Katherine, His half brother Frank, and his youngest brother Timothy. He is survived by his Mary Cheney, two sisters: Kathleen Parker (Larry), and Konnie Capra, sister-in-law Kathy Cabra, nephews & nieces, Dottie, Frank, Jim, Kristi, Scott, Jorge, Alex, Konnie Kay & Frankie along with many cousins, great nieces & nephews but most of all his fellow vets and friends that he has made through the years. He loved all of you.
Keven, you will be missed and also loved. We will think of you often and remember all the stories you told that made us laugh. R.I.P. Keven (aka MULE), we wait for the day when we will all be reunited in God's house.
